Telemedicine consent & medical disclaimer

Last updated: · Version 1.0

Please note. This document should be reviewed against the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines applicable to registered medical practitioners in India, and against the rules of any other jurisdiction patients are accepted from, before the site is published.

Emergency care

This service is not for emergencies. Telemedicine is not appropriate for urgent or life-threatening problems. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, sudden weakness or numbness, a severe allergic reaction, or thoughts of harming yourself, stop here and contact your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital.

Who is treating you

Your consultation is with Dr. Keerti Madhukar, BHMS, registered with the Karnataka Board of Homeopathic System of Medicine, Bangalore, under registration number A-12093. You are entitled to confirm this before your appointment; the registration is held under her maiden name, Keerti Chaurasia, and her full qualifications are listed on the About page.

What you are consenting to

By ticking the consent box and completing a booking, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following.

  • Your consultation takes place over a video call rather than in person.
  • Dr. Keerti will take a history, review any reports you share, and may prescribe homeopathic remedies and a nutrition plan.
  • You consent to your personal and health information being collected and processed for this purpose, as set out in the privacy policy.
  • You may withdraw this consent at any time, though that does not undo processing already carried out.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

The limits of a video consultation

A remote consultation cannot include physical examination — no palpation, auscultation, or direct inspection beyond what a camera shows. This means:

  • Some conditions cannot be assessed properly at a distance, and you may be asked to see a doctor in person.
  • Dr. Keerti may request laboratory tests, imaging, or a specialist referral before prescribing.
  • Where a case is beyond the scope of remote holistic care, you will be told plainly and referred.
  • Poor connection quality or incomplete information may limit what can safely be advised.

Recording

Consultations are not recorded by us unless you are told in advance and agree. You may not record a consultation without Dr. Keerti's prior written consent.

Prescriptions

Any prescription is issued for you alone, on the basis of the case taken. Do not share remedies with others, and do not continue a prescription beyond the period advised without a follow-up.
